This website, hosted by Pastor Michael Ross, is his personal blog. It is the nature of every preacher to share what they have learned from the Lord. This is a tool to aid in that endeavour. Whether it is in ministry or family life, we should be 100% Christian all the time. It is my desire that, as I share things with you, it will be an encouragement to you to be a 100% Christian all the time as well.

The name is based upon 2 Timothy 1:12, “For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. Many Christians today are apprehensive about testifying of their Lord and Saviour. This site was developed to strengthen those who would say, “I know whom I have believed…” and give them the tools necessary to be a better witness for Him.

From the earliest time that I can remember, my family attended church. I grew up in Sunday School and the ministries of the church. When I was around 5 years old, my mother spoke to me again about the need to trust Jesus as my Saviour. She had talked to me about this many times before, and I heard it in church, too. Recognizing my need of a Saviour, I prayed and asked Jesus to forgive me and save me. Immediately, the Lord spoke to my heart calling me to be a preacher. I responded to Him with the answer of, “Lord, I will do anything but that!” I spent my youth as a typical “good kid,” but I knew I was running from the Lord. I joined the Marines in August of 1997, and throughout all of my training and duty assignments God would not leave me alone. The farther I ran from Him, the closer I was drawn to Him. It was on December 5th, 1999, that I decided the world didn’t have much to offer and to get back into church.  That morning, I attended the Grace Independent Baptist Church in Ocean Springs, MS. At the conclusion of the service when the invitation was given, I ran to the altar and surrendered my life to the Lord. It was later, in February of 2000, that I answered the call to preach, and I have been doing it ever since! I was blessed to be part of a ministry that invested in me and allowed a young Marine get involved. I worked bus routes, taught Sunday School, and worked with the youth. I got heavily involved in the church’s local prison ministry. That is where I really learned to preach and get a burden for souls. During this time, I was also receiving a formal education through the church’s Bible Institute.  Since December of ’99, all I have wanted to be is a servant of the Lord. I have never looked back! I can see God’s hand working down through my life and am grateful!
